Marketing Manager - Clifton's Republic

The Marketing Manager will execute all aspects of marketing to drive food, beverage, and private event sales. To this effect, the position will partner with the operating and sales teams, as well as clients and creative agencies, to execute plans, optimize programs, and report on results. Currently, this role will be on-site at Clifton’s Republic. 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Follow industry trends.
  • Develop a solid understanding of front and back-of-house operations and event sales.
  • Manage the marketing calendar.
  • Support the development of menus, programs, and activations through market research and market pricing.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain holistic promotion plans that include digital marketing, creative content, PR partnerships, website & Google Business Profiles, restaurant-related platforms, syndication services, social media, email/print marketing, and community outreach.
  • Oversee reputation management, including the timely response to all online feedback.
  • Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and consumer insights and work with operations to enhance operations based on findings.
  • Support private event marketing including developing event menus and packages, sales decks, and other marketing materials.
  • Manage and engage with the social media community/influencers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in restaurant marketing or related field.
  • Ability to create content using a mobile smartphone.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision.
  • Experience collaborating with restaurant service, culinary, and sales teams.
  • Experience developing and managing successful restaurant, bar, and hospitality campaigns.
  • Fluency in restaurant performance metrics; ability to report on and use metrics to drive campaigns.
  • Experience managing creative partners including PR and social media agencies, graphic designers, and photographers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and copywriting skills.
  • A keen eye for compelling visuals.
  • Ability to create and manage digital and social media content:
  • Experience with consumer insight analysis and online reputation management.
  • Ability to travel for business.
